Before delving into some of the big movers across the Index so far today, let us first reflect on the Dividend winners from yesterday.
Sunday 22nd Match Day Winners:
Media: David Luiz (1530) 2p
Star Player: Alejandro Gomez (313) 2p
Top Forward: Adama (231) 5p
Top Midfielder: Alejandro Gomez (313) 5p
Top Defender: Nikola Milenkovic (228) 5p
Alejandro Gomez (£1.58) continues to be the go-to man for Atalanta
Atalanta sit third in the Serie A standings after another comfortable home win yesterday against Lecce.
Of course, the Argentine playmaker got on the scoresheet as he continues to demonstrate his worth to the side and with another weekend on top of the Match Day rankings, his value is on the rise.
A tricky run of fixtures after the international match day has not deterred Traders, as he remains the top riser on the platform at the time of writing.
Adama (£0.91) topples the Champions
It was a weekend full of upsets in the Barclays, arguably the biggest shock came at the Etihad where Wolves came away 2-0 winners.
Two lethal counter-attacking goals from the away side were enough to see off Guardiola’s side as Adama capitalised on some lax defending on both occasions.
Since his two-goal performance, Adama has been popular amongst Traders who hope this is the start of the player putting together a long-overdue consistent run of form.
Alassane Plea (£1.36) and Gladbach sit top of the Bundesliga
Seven Bundesliga Match Days later, and Borussia Mönchengladbach sit top of the table heading into the October international break.
Losing one game in the process, Plea has been key with his goal contributions and after another goal-scoring effort in the win over Augsburg at the weekend, the Frenchman’s value is on the rise.
The side head to the Signal Iduna Park after the break to face a Dortmund side desperate for a win, in a game that could test the credentials of both sides going forward.
