Another Milestone for Sancho

If the Bundesliga was missing one thing since its return to action it would be seeing an all-firing Jadon Sancho (£14.01) for Borussia Dortmund. On his restoration to the starting eleven against Paderborn at the weekend, we got just that.

A first career hat-trick helped Dortmund to a 6-1 away to the league’s bottom club Paderborn as the England international looked back to his devastating best, as he took home both Star Player and Top Midfielder Dividends for the Sunday.

His Bundesliga numbers this season are frightening. The 20-year-old now has 17 goals and 16 assists in the league, making him only the fifth player in one of Europe’s top-five leagues since 2006/07 to score 15+ goals and provide 15+ assists in a single season after Lionel Messi (x4), Eden Hazard (x2), Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez.

If that wasn’t enough, his 53p price increase in the last 24 hours has seen him become the first £14 player post-Share Split, having only broken the £13 barrier on April 21. He truly is the King of the Index.

Robert Lewandowski – Gets Better With Age

The spearhead of Bayern Munich’s attack, Robert Lewandowski (£2.33) continues to rack up the goals as he notched a brace against Fortuna Düsseldorf in their 5-0 weekend win to edge Die Roten ever closer to an eighth-straight Bundesliga title.

The two goals for the 31-year-old now means he has scored 43 goals in all competitions this season, equalling his best-ever tally for a single season which came in 2016/17.

With five league games remaining, as well as the DFB-Pokal and Champions League to think about, it’s scary to think what the Pole’s tally could be come the end of the season, which may even culminate in Bayern’s second treble.

French Connection Borussia Mönchengladbach

Borussia Mönchengladbach got back to winning ways with an impressive 4-1 win over Union Berlin on Sunday, with French duo Alassane Pléa (£1.55) and Marcus Thuram (£2.26) starring for the hosts.

Pléa was good for two assists and one goal, taking his league tally this season to 10 goals and 10 assists, a career-best for goals and assists combined in a league season, while Thuram’s brace of goals – both assisted by Pléa – means he’s now also on 10 goals in the league for the campaign, as well as taking home the day’s Top Forward Dividends and seeing his Share Price increase by 5p in the last 24 hours.

The movement and pace of the pair was a joy to watch, as they look to guide Gladbach into the Champions League places come the end of the season.

A special mention to Gladbach’s other goalscorer, Florian Neuhaus (£1.33). The 23-year-old started the scoring at Borussia-Park while putting in another composed performance at the heart of their midfield. Like Thuram, he has also enjoyed a 5p increase in the last 24 hours and is a player with a bright future ahead of him.

Odion Ighalo Set for Extended Manchester United Stay

Manchester United fans will be seeing a lot more of Odion Ighalo (£1.82) between now and the end of the season after it was confirmed his loan deal has been extended.

It looked as if the 30-year-old was set to return to parent club Shanghai Shenhua ahead of their return to action, but the Red Devils have confirmed that the Nigerian international will remain at Old Trafford until January 31 2021.

News of his stay has translated onto the Index, with Ighalo’s Share Price increasing by 17p in the last 24 hours.

While his move was met with widespread bemusement at the beginning of the year, Ighalo has become a real fan-favourite at United, with four goals and one assist since his arrival to help beef up Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s attacking options.

Trent Alexander-Arnold Enters £9 Bracket Ahead of Premier League Return

Traders appear to be gearing up for the return of the Premier League if the recent rise of Trent Alexander-Arnold (£9.09) is anything to go by.

The 21-year-old has seen his Share Price increase by 36p in the last 24 hours, with it being no surprise considering he is one of the most creative players in the league despite playing at full-back.

He has already equaled his tally of 12 assists in the league last season again this campaign, with one more set to break his own record for most assists by a defender in the Premier League in a single season.

With Liverpool poised to be crowned league champions this month, June could be a memorable month for both Alexander-Arnold and Traders that own Shares in him.
